Don't forget a ground share with The Hammers at the Olympic Stadium too...

| Wherever, it would be nice to have it announced in April/May and get a solid 9 month build up to the re-re-brand.
I actually don't mind Gus's county cricket model of a main ground (10 games) with about 3 fixtures at satellite grounds. Of course, the fixtures would need to be set before the season starts rather than arranged at a week's notice ...

| He talks some pulp doesn't he? Talks significantly more than he ever does.
"That's where I'm focusing my time". He's been looking for 18 months! That explains why he's done nothing else I suppose. Who'd have thought a dozen phone calls, followed up by two meetings could take so long?
"It was probably the toughest week of my working career". I can't believe that is possible. I'm guessing he's not counting that day fielding that someone posted on Youtube?

| The club have to generate some excitement about this next move. I think most people on here aren't exactly happy with moving or are fed up with the prospect of moving yet again but the club has to now make this move seem attractive and enticing to current supporters, prospective supporters and sponsors.
I remember the other year Huddersfield Giants made an annoucement saying that at half time of an upcoming home game that there was a "major annoucement" and they bigged it up so much that the Sky cameras turned up as well. Obviously rumours of new signings, investment etc were all wrong and it was only reduced ticket prices but a new ground is a major announcement that should be used to generate interest and excitement.

| There is a thread on the Aldershot Town FC forum stating that we are being linked with a move to Farnborough FC, though there is no evidence to back this up at all. I'll be very surprised if we do play there next season.
Farnborough have a reasonable ground and do need money to finish off a stand they started to build behind one goal and have had other football teams ground sharing in recent seasons so may be interested. However even if the new stand is going to be finished it will still fall short of what the RFL would want us to be playing in. Not sure the corporate facilities would be up to much there either.
32 minute fast train from London and about a 25 min walk from the station or just off the M3 with reasonable amounts of parking at the ground.

| We'd fit in well at farnborough a club that have halved their crowds in 3 years always in the financial mire and most seasons have points deducted for one reason or other, (currently don't have a proper goalie!)
They have next to no corporate area ( or light bulbs in the loo) and as far as I can remember don't sell curries (although there are a couple of decent curry houses in town)
& yes I support them as well as the broncos - a real glutton for punishment
PS it had been reported over on farnborough fans forum that there is a possible ground share next season
