I quite agree. I paid the more expensive price but would have paid more if it was to help the club.
Yes I understand ticket discounting to drum up interest but we only get what we pay for and for the last few years we have been paying under the odds for top level sport in a top venue. Yes, we can moan about a lot of the performances that we have been subjected to in that time but again we were not being charged enough to pay for a top level squad and club in the most expensive part of the country.
A move to Gillingham is clearly aimed at a new and different market. Fair enough, good luck.
I however want to support a London club, playing in London. I am prepared to pay a reasonable rate to achieve that.
