Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.

| Dave- nobody has suggested that you (or anyone else) aren't allowed an opinion and no-one is expecting you to do anything. BB has suggested that anyone who has something to say to the players may have the opportunity to do that after the game. That is his idea that he is allowed to express.
I agree with you about this be the only club that some people expect to have access to the players. I don't expect it but if I get the opportunity to chat to someone, I usually take it (but then I chat to everyone no matter who they are...that is just me).
I agree we have some supporters that are embarrassing ...I'm going to find it embarrassing when you and the other 10 people start waving white towels around.
Each to his own...maybe we should both develop thicker skins.

In some respect I understand your point Listy.
The players are club assets. In some clubs you will find the players are made to go to the corporate boxes or alternatively meet with the sponsors after a game-which forms part of the package
We as a club are different, possibly due to our size- We are the fans are the corporate users and sponsors!!!

I don't really care that much whether we have access to the players. What I object to is being told that it won't be happening because the players don't like going in the bar when they lose.
I don't suppose they do but then they should try and win a bit more often. |
