It has never been about me RB.......contrary to popular belief!

I have posted literally hundreds of Ideas that all cost next to nothing when it comes to marketing the club, as well as meeting with them and the RFL to try and figure out ways to boost interest, but because I comment on your post of another "call to arms", I am admonished for pointing out past failings in this area?

So far, we've had leaflet Olympic events.....OUTSTANDING STUFF eusa_clap.gif

Get a grip RB......no amount of community spirit is going to help the club this time......less than 140 "guests" have been brought to 5 games as part of the ST offer.......there is an overall feeling of apathy and tiredness surrounding the fans (check out the facebook page.....not 1 positive comment). The Perth Reds have about 8 times as many members as we have ST holders.....and attendances are currently the worst since ESL started.
This is not the London Broncos of Charlton, or Stoop 1, or Griffin Park......this the London Broncos shaped around the business model of Harlequins Rugby League...where there is a barrier between the players and the fans and where there is no need for "volunteers".

Take off the rose tinted specs.....stop looking at Olympic games associated campaigns as being the answer.

I repeat, it was never about me RB......if it was about me, I would chane charged from day 1.

It would seem that you think it's all about me as well. What solution do you have that the newly formed but still unwanted and undervalued volunteer group could help with?
PR? Brilliant....let's get a load of lovies in Golden Square to sit around and ponder why nobody wants to come and watch big gruff men run around a muddy pitch....that'll have them flocking in d040.gif d040.gif

I get it RB........you don't like my constant marketing posts or your perception of my arrogance, but I never made any money for me or my clients for being a shrinking violet.

Notice....I said ME or my clients......more self importance.....will it ever end icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Good luck with getting the volunteers reformed.

I ask a question of people back home, you come on from New Zealand and point how it hasn't worked in the past. You point out that volunteers from the past won't help. Your negativity is astounding. [iNo amount of community spirit is ever going to help the club this time.[/i People back home can try if they want. As I said already [i"why are you telling us how YOU won't be helping"[/i

No-one is overly happy. But only one person comes on here and continually points out how shıt everything is, continually from all aspects of the club. It's relentless.

You even mock fans' suggestions about Olympics after they realise it was a no-go. Or someone mentioning PR. But you still mock with your sarcasm. Also as you can see I never mentioned the Olympics, nor have I suggested THE answer. That was put out there for the fans and the supporters to chose. I believe door drops and leaflets is actually one of your own suggestions. Is it that bad now?

If people back home volunteered and anything they tried worked, would that make you happy? I reckon it would as it would me.

And you finish your repost with another sarcastic comment about "good luck" getting the volunteers reformed.

Okay forget the Olympics idea,no point in trying to help the club.As a side note, I took a work colleague to the last home game, she loved it and asked when the next home game was.I told her she could go but I probably wouldn't.
The club is going downhil fast. The ground is like a morgue on match days.Iagree we need a winning team to help build things up again.

I am a gardener by trade so if anyone wants any flowers and bulbs and needs them planted by the roadside let me know.Probably a better idea than leafletting thousands of people anyway. icon_rolleyes.gif

Quote: Dan Stains woz God "They do have player sponsorships, but they are very expensive for the average RL fan (think they start from £450 to about £850). You aren't guaranteed an end of season awards night either.

We used to have an individual try sponsorship which was quite popular (so they chose to stop doing it).

PS. Would think you could probably sponsor a few of our players for about £15 now!
Individual player prices have always been pretty steep for supporters, hence why this forum always used to get together and sponsor players as a group, think we did that for around 6 seasons, but also in the SAG days they got a bit more switched on to things like try sponsors and other lower cost level sponsorships which helped.

Between the pair of you, you have suggested not one thing that is either new or inventive, but instead, have spent 1 page of a 3 page thread having a pop at me for pointing out where previous attempts at this have gone wrong.
Others have said the club aren't interested, but Gutterfax is an easy target.
