| As its been hinted that's we are in with a shout of another prop from Aus,but hes still involved in their play off.
Then from what i can see these are the only ones off contract at the end of season whose teams are still in play offs. And they are: Matt Cross,Jason King, Brent Kite, Dane Carlaw and Sione Kite.
It was hinted that he wasnt as well know, but would go well over here. so i go for Matt Cross or Sione Kite. simple reason is have heard of the others.. .
Personally would love Jason King or Brent Kite.
Unless of course its a player whos still in contract with his club for 2012 and got a early release..

Jason King seems to be in the NSW thinking, so I wouldn't imagine he would leave Aus, but will be 31 in March and the way we trade off against the relatively weak pound and the cost of London living is a three year contract so who knows.
Brent Kite has apparently been offered a deal, but has not signed, and that we have been talking to Kite and people about him for half the season, while Georgie Rose has signed a two year deal there.
So Kite has either signed for Manly and used us, or not got what he wanted and is on his way here for 2012.

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| That would be good, but from what our owner said on the Radio last night, I doubt it.
Still, you never know. We certainly look short in the centres.

| I may have this wrong. but from the way DH was talking, he made it sound like we were after another forward and he didnt sound to convinced that this would come off now. so perhaps since that interview something has happened and the coaching staff and DH have changed tack and gone for Armstrong (alleged rumour) and maybe then look for a cheaper prop to bring in from this country to add to the squad.
You could think that they have decide to move Clubb to forwards (which i doubt) and thats why maybe gone for Armstrong after seeing him perform at the weekend..
Rumours are also on the Bulls forum that Andy Lynch wants away from there.. I know hes 32,but would he be worth a punt for year and have him work with the junior setup too.

| I know I've said this before but I'd play Clubb at prop. He still can't read attacking players in front of him out wide, and moving him one in to 2nd Row won't change that because he'll still be faced with options and have to make quick decisions. Stick him in the middle where he won't have to do that and just tell him "if it moves, hit it". With his size and strength he'd cope with the physical demands of playing at prop, and his pace will give him something few other props have.
Lots of other players have done it. Gary Mercer went from winger to 2nd Row to prop, and did so very successfully. I think it would be the making of Clubby.

I think you're right. Still remember that try he scored at Edinburgh, just forcing his way, nearly-shirtless, through a bunch of opposing players - typical prop's try.

Well Clubby got the ironman award, but in the second-row he always comes off like he has run himself into the ground so maybe loosen the reigns in the gym and let him be the size he wants to be and be a monster in the front row for 20 minutes at a time and do what Louie used to do for London.

Would kill for Mateo. I've even got couple of Tongan friends over here now, they could keep him entertained with stories about the old country....
