Jesus wept listy...I am the first in line to p1ss all over anything the club try to do....but 4 tries....against anyone has got to be applauded......if it was easy..name the last SL player to score 4 againt us.......especially with turnstile tony in the team?

Like I said, I'm not going to argue with you, I said I was pleased for Tony but it was hardly a vintage performance. Kind of ironic that anyone on here would applaud Clubb's efforts today, yet criticize Mick Nanyn when he also scored bagfulls of tries by falling over the line.

Really? Yere is a player I have observed on numerous occasions this year, and he is very poor in defence.
Clubb did well to barge over/run fast, yes, but it was hardly a virtuoso centre performance.
8/10 I'd give him today, FWIW. I suppose everyone on here would give him 10/10 then?  |

The nonsense was "any other Centre would have done the same".
8/10 is great praise from you. I'd give him 9/10. In fact he was presented with few opportunities to do anything wrong. Could have dropped the ball but didn't. Though maybe he did on the second try - I thought Russell Smith might have been a bit generous to him. |

OK maybe not any centre, but it wasn't technically impressive Rugby League. |

fact is.....when players like tomkins get lauded as the future...we all nod in agreement...even though he would have made the same impact on this tournament if he'sDstayed in Wigan....Tony Clubb on the other hand scores 4 tries....and WE bag him......
Listy...I have been up all night...am very hung over/ still hammered....but even the Kiwis in the house reckon he would walk into any NRL teams starting 13....at centre or SR...yes...WE know he has issues in defence......but 4 tries...Internationa game...please name the last cockney to do that
