| Agree that HKR's pack could be expected to marmalise ours normally, but they could struggle after their short rest period. And we may have the better halves. I'Anson was poor on Friday and Dobbo (of whom I've previously been a fan) played like Thorman on a bad day.

I'm not buying into this whole short rest period thing. Plenty of teams have turned around with no problems before after a tough game, and Hull KR are not a team I associate with a lack of fitness. Dobson did indeed disappear on Friday, but then so did Eastmond for St Helens, who was abysmal - still a massive threat though. I also fear with Howell missing, the likes of Webster will run all over our 3/4's. Some of our players just aren't good enough for SL, and I fear we will suffer.

Why, what damage did he actually do against us?
I have a feeling we are going to be shattered for this one, hard tough game on Fri and a long journey down today. Still though, this is a game we can win, close and tight but I fancy us to just sneak it.

| I thought the Hull derby was a really terrible game. So many errors, dirsorganised, players flying out of the line, knock ons, penalties. I wouldnt be too worried about playing either team at home if I was any Super League team.....apart from us. I think we'll lose by 10.

Compared with Friday's squad, Kaye is in (yet again!) for Esders. You might have thought that Esders would be up for a game against his old club.

| I'm looking forward to this. I belie the squad will be straining at the leash after missing the game on Thursday. The righteous men from London Town will lay waste to the battered bodies from the North. A heroic victory for the Quins, sending the miserable KR hordes back to whence they came.

I think that we'll either get a narrow win or a thrashing. I'm certainly not confident.

We was hoping he was coming back on also, his running was pretty ineffective and he was losing the plot, should have already gone to the bin for throwing 3 punches all on separate occasions, was only a matter of time before he did something else silly.
I think we will either win small or get a thrashing off you lot lol

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| There are a few things for Quins fans to take heart from.
Our record against HKR is good (5 wins out of 7), we have beaten the handicapper in the last two weeks (we have a 2 point start this week) our points conceded at home in the last 4 games is 80 compared to HKR's 97 (matches preceding this weeks loss against Hull) and as already mentioned, we have our capo back in action.
If we had Howell playing, I would be tempted to put a few bob on us this week.
Come on Quins, onwards and upwards!

The only thing difference that Purdo will make IMO is that we will drop less ball. Much as I am a fan I recognise he is not a player who threatens the line. Gale's kicking will hopefully get us some parity with Dobson in terms of field position but zero in terms of try line threat. Unlikely Dobbo will be as quiet again. Without Howell to catch the ball for the cross kicks to the corner we have lost some of our limited firepower.
Cant see us getting anything Im afraid unless one of their lot get sent off.
