I agree with all of that. I didn't post to stir the $hit and just wondered why the decision had been made. If I were able to book a day off to get to the game I would but the nature of my job will not allow it. |

| Tbh, Bradford doesnt bring that many fans down to us anyway, so it won't be a huge loss.
Will be nice to see how many fans of theirs will turn up though, I doubt it will be alot, then their fans won't be able to mock our away support again.
As far as i'm aware, im going up to Bradford to see us play on a friday night, so these things really don't affect me personally anyway  |

That said my last friday night trip to the Stoop was a nightmare to get back from .

I've called for more midweek home games for us as a good way to target london business on work night outs.
Its far easier for us fans to convince colleagues to go out for a beer and a game on a weekday than a weekend and one or two fixtures a season is ideal

But the likes of Salford and Wigan play clubs like Leeds and the Hull clubs on Fridays too, which probably costs them hundreds of away fans. Obviously those clubs feel they can offset this by attracting more supporters of their own.
I would imagine our CEO has been picking the brains of his counterparts up north and wants to test the water to see whether we might attract extra local support (specifically the corporate market) on a Friday. I'm sceptical, as our support is dispersed over a much wider catchment area than any other English club and it will be a nuisance for a lot of regulars to get to Twickenham after work, then back home afterwards, but given the lack of impact of previous initiatives it's got to be worth a try.
