I meant Bridge, didn't realise Gafa had problems, well apart from looking completely uninterested for half the season. Gafa was a bit of a punt from the start, a Canberra reserve grader he looked decent at times, but yesterday he couldn't even keep up with Dean Widders.

C'mon Gafa was superb for us last season until he had that awful injury. This season, he ... (well, I won't finish it, but any QuinsRL fan could).

It's his supposed proneness to other things that put me off him.

| Darrell Goulding would be a decent centre signing IMO. He's not had a great 2009 but would be worth a go on a sensible salary.
Another good option would be Simon Grix.
Saying that, I thought Luke May looked good in Perpignan. Clubb, Howell, May and Bryan could cover the centres next year and we could spend any spare £££ on a no. 1 or 7.

| Chris Bridge has had a good year at Wire with his goal-kicking and 10 tries is a decent return but he had become injury-prone with big injuries (knee reconstructions etc) so it would be a gamble and tbh if Quins wanted him then a year deal is all I'd give him at the minute.

| Bring back Mick Nanyn, he was never given a proper chance, another of Brian's class signings!

Just about nobody on here thought that Nanyn would succeed, but it may have been a fair punt to see how he could go if his fitness level was raised.
The truly dumb signing was Gardner who'd already been dumped by two SL clubs (or one and a half, because Salford had only just gained entry to SL).
