now there was a prog on one of the crap tv channels about red bull taking over a footy team over in italy or france it was, the fans were not happy as they took away the clubs identity and built em a fancy stadium that was state of the art
errr we dont really have an identity so bring it on
i would happily be called the london bulls or the london reds if tehy want to pump some dosh in to us

has anybody noticed how big red bull is??? if they want to put money in to us then grab it with both hands!!! and strewth see what happens

if this was to happen, i would put money on us competign for silverwear within 5 years

Well....they are announcing the teams who have been granted a SL licence for the next 3 years early next week. I'm assuming London has a side in it...question is will it be announced as "Quins RL" or "London..... RLFC"? Surely to be granted a licence we need to have had a decision made on the name etc before hand?????? Can just imagine the uproar on VT and the Wakey board if nothing is set with us and yet they get kicked out of SL!

RFL will just have to put up with it if it happens.

Don't know if anybody else has mentioned this but I was just wondering if a name change might be forced on us by Harlequins RU deciding that they don't want us to share their name anymore?

I doubt the RFL have not put major thought into this with such a formal announcement being made at Old Trafford I understand Tuesday 26 July 11.30am Apologies for errors! PM may have been a good time LOL
