What other PPV events charge the consumer DOUBLE should they be unable to commit to watching in advance?
They are not doubling the price on the day, they are actually halving the price if you buy early.

Whats hard about it, cost of PPV is 10£ ypu can get a discount by purchasing early, the hint is in the wording "early bird"

Boxing is double on the day

So it is going to be memberships instead of season tickets this year. Presumably because you can't sell a season ticket for a seat, or a part of the ground, if you don't know yet where you are going to be playing.

Can't fault the club on communication on this issue - I received the official 2021 Membership email 5 times overnight!!!

We may well playing at more than one home ground this season. So no allocated seats. No allocated stadium at the moment.

What s total f@%k up this is.....It hardly seems credible that this limbo situation can be aloud to develop...

It’s rosslyn park

As a fan, I know it does not make much difference where the game is being played, being that fans cannot attend.
However it shows what a poor state the club is in, for this to have been allowed to go almost to the last minute before announcing the venue.
Not very professional, for a professional Rugby Club.

The suggestion the venue had to be kept "under wraps" for some sort of covid protocols, sounds cobblers to me.

Does beg the question though, do we train at Rosslyn Park's ground or their training ground at Richmond Park Polo Fields? Just for accuracy as we won't be there.
