I was 30 yesterday so all promotions on that theme gratefully recieved.

Seriously though, I hope the club are planning to use the 30th as much as possible. I found a Broncos shirt from a good ten years ago over the weekend, maybe like they did with the cheap ticket for football shirt wearing, pick a game and say that any fan wearing an old shirt from any era of our history can get a mate in free.

Good suggestion about Brentford as well. I go to Griffin Park a lot and a decent amount of people there still remember the Broncos being there and I think would come to the Stoop during the summer. Have some kind of voutcher in the last programme of the football season for example, the take up wouldn't be huge but a few is better than none.

The way the club screws up new kit launches (firstly by having 2 new kits every season) 90 per cent of the crowd turn up in "retro" wear anyway

Was looking forward to the 30th aniv. but lost heart after the disgraceful standards of the '09 season.

So would quitely suggest that 5000+ average gate and 6th+ finish is pie in the sky and always will be as long as we continue tobe linked to a club who cheat & lie in order to 'win'........the Twickenham Stoop is not the right location for rugby league, never has been and never will be.

Would rather see the London based SuperLeague franchise move in with a lower level C1/C2 football club than remain tied - and tarred - with the dreadful Harlequins brand.

However, that's not my problem or concern as can afford to watch good rugby league elsewhere be it in France or over the next three weeks down in Oz.

While 'Gutterfax' has loads of worthy ideas and suggestions it's all a waste of time as Chairman Hughes and his 'board' are unable to invest YET equally unwilling or should that be unable to bring in 'new' money.

Cally Hocknell is doing the marketing for the club. Has these ideas been passed on?

The Club watch these boards and as Cally is a marketing professional I will not intefere with what the club or she has planned. I have made my opinion (s) clear to the club on the direction I believe they should take and that is the end of that.
I wish Cally and the rest of the Team well for 2010 and unlike the few who pine for the club to fold due to the association with Union or the fact they want a return to the old days when we go for boom or bust.
Storminateacup and rupe1 are a perfect example of what the club don't need. So called "fans" who offer nothing but negativity......just because we play a style of football that isn't to their liking (or anyone else at the moment either)somewhere that isn't accessible by their zimmers or/and because we share a name with a union team.
Good luck for 2010 to all involved!

Yup, because of course that will be the sole reason the Rugby [iLeague[/i teams gates will be down and our play off position compromised..........

If it will help your obsession and compulsion to continue to post despite leaving more times than Status Quo have reformed, I can always assist by deactivating your account..................the first step is always admitting you have a problem old chap.

I think you will find that we are exactly what the club needs. You can dress it up as 'disloyal' as much as you want but the simple fact is that people like us no longer want to watch a product that we find distasteful and substandard. Take out people like us and you are left with 2000 odd performing seals who clap and cheer no matter what detritus is served up before them and a club that will die.

Rupe

for someone who has supposedly given up on what you call dis tatstefull and sub standard you always seem to have summat to say
If you are not watching anymore and have no interest in the "detrius" as you put it why do you put so much effort to commenting on here?
Even I am getting bored with you

Yep it has been a poor season, well second half of it, its sport, you pick a team and decide to support it, sign of a real supporter is one that follows a team through good and bad!!!
in otherwords, sod off and annoy other people

No a real supporter will campaign for change if it will improve the club.

I don't how Rupe and Bronco will know if the club has improved if they don't go - maybe they will ask the seals for a morsel of news.

No imput - no output.

Haven't they got anything better to do? as the real London RL world is not good enough for them. They are such curiosities that they should be put on exhibition with the chocolate teapots.

Is that the same Chairman Hughes and board who, intially with the help of IL, have underwritten us by large sums since the Quins tie up, and who lost £1.5m when Broncos went under plus all the money they had subsidised that club by?

All is far from well at Quins but it would be a lot worse if David Hughes walked away. As for being unable to bring in new money, given the problems IL has had getting rid of his shares I'd suggest that may be down to a lack of interest. "Please buy these shares, all you have to do is underwrite the club by a few hundred grand a year, oh and then get criticised for not spending enough." Can't think why they ain't queueing up for that offer.......
