He was excellent for us but, as you say, has gone to SRD. We appear to be fishing in a different pond at the moment but he would have been a Championship player who had previously represented us that would have been very welcome. He also benefits from not being of pensionable age. |

Unless we bring in some quality we are looking like a mid level Championship side. The academy was scrapped to supposedly allow they club to focus on other areas of the ranking criteria. The 2 highest ranking criteria are fandom and performance. We won't pick up many performance points with a sub standard squad and nor will will attract many new fans to the club.
