That seems to be the role he’s chosen for himself. When he first started appearing on Super League show and radio he clearly stood out. Obviously bright, a nice line in self deprecation and light touch on cliches and filler comments. Now he feels obligated to be a bit of a tool now again. Having said that, on balance, I’d say he is good. By way of comparison whoever the expert is on radio Humberside, even when he gets a new voice box I think he’s ‘not so good’.

We’re making a lot of errors but Hull cant capitalise. This expert commentator is wearing me out. What he says is often OK but he just won’t stop talking.

Regardless of the result, Hull fans cannot be pleased with what the club is serving up here. Gawd knows how it came to this. Proper side Hull don’t really deserve this. I assume it’s a case of a saving money this year because we are going down come what may. Not I suspect what IMG intended when they came up with their plan but there it is. Third win of the season.
