BOSG were appealing for volunteers to run the ticket office just a couple of days back. I expect the reasons are down to poor planning by commercial.

Words fail me. We have a Commercial Wing that is probably bigger than the one we had as Quins RL yet seemingly cannot stump up for someone to do three hours at national minimum wage to run a ticket office.

Get the supporters group to run it, they've paid their £20, at least let them feeling they are getting something from the club


Get the partnership mgr to run it. I remember Tony Rea serving me a pint at the Stoop (first time around) from the hexagon bar they had located near the entrance when he was CEO!

What about the 20 hard core Amoebas that follow Monkey around like the Pied piper. Cant they be trusted with such a simple task. Opportunity for the club to promote itself as a community club with a project helping the vulnerable.

What an absolute nonsense this is.

I expect that there will some fans who rock up without a ticket on Sunday. How the club deals with them will be the litmus test.

The Metro advert didn't carry any URL for ticket purchase and has no reference to it being no pay on the day either. Hopefully not too many people pop along off the back of that expecting to pay on the day.

Well they have the choice of bad publicity of sending them away, good publicity perhaps in letting them in for free or charging them having rustled up some bod or other to take the money.

In any event this relaunch of new ground & part time players has not be blessed with too much thought & planning. Round of applause for the ineptitude the Club have shown. I wish the team well & hope we somehow get a win out of this.

Absolutely bonkers. With COVID still knocking around, I have tended to make decisions on the morning of any given day prior to dropping £22 on a ticket that I potentially couldn't even use. Words fail me.

As of 6.30am looks as though you can still book online if you rock up with your smart phone matchday. Whether that changes closer to ko remains to be seen.
