Budgie, their is an attitude issue, don’t think anyone goes in actually expecting to lose or not caring, the important thing is to make it a decent game. Importantly for the coach spotting the weakness for next time the two come together.

I never suggested otherwise, players AND fans should be looking forward to this game.....

That's never going to end well........

We were short on props actually, after Vai Vai's season-ending injury left us with only five in the squad. Personally, I think it's a clever ploy to divert the referees' attention away from Jamie Acton!

Walker and Butler left out. So a pretty strong team, all things considered.

Lovell, i think withdraws shortly before kick off, not the first player to do so this season. Seems to me we are being stretched physically and because we have such a thin squad with a number of injuries, we are asking players to play when not fully fit or out of position. Sammut goes off after about 20 minutes, comes back after half time to replace the injured Pewhairangi, who is followed off the field by the injured Dixon.
I think we will struggle to put out a decent side next week.
