Ok then, that's fine but you lot were the ones saying Leeds won't bring any, and the ground is not ready, there will be anywhere between 800-1200 Leeds fans coming maybe more if day and ko time is suitable. I'l be coming anyway.

No mate its not what us lot said, actually what I said I quote "you are assuming anyone from Leeds will bother" you have just suggested it depends on the time and day so if it's the wrong kick off time and wrong day can we assume then that you won't bother?, what makes you say the ground is not ready? What makes you so sure it will be that number?
Simple fact is, Ealing trailfinders is our home ground, the club have planning permission to build a temporary stand and am sure that's what they will do. If numbers are restricted to ticket only then that's life.
All I am interested in is a decent game and Leeds don't put too many points past us.

Why move to a ground we are unfamiliar with and give away any advantage we may have?

You're the team that's under performed this year. If you were any good you would be going to HJ, Langtree, Pie dome etc but your rubbish and now get used to playing rubbish in a rubbish ground.

We drove up in the car , were asked if we wanted tickets , replied we already had them and were waved through without having to show them

Just to add , it's more toilets that's needed , good facilities to get liquid and food into the punters , getting rid of it is the issue at Ealing

We all know the issues. You won’t find a Broncos fan who is happy with the current set up, in its current form.

But if it’s a choice of having a club at a ground that needs to be improved considerably and paying reasonable rent and having some control of our destiny OR being at the behest of others as we were at The Hive and Stoop, paying extortionate amounts for the privilege, having no opportunity to make any money, I'd take this option every time.

So based on the last two years we don't have a problem at all. Anything resembling 2012 and before it could be an issue, but frankly I cant see it.

Lets be honest, Leeds are a great club with great away support and its likely the only venues you wouldnt outnumber the home fans in the qualifiers is HKR and Leigh.

We did have tickets , purchased at Leigh , my point being they weren't checked , and if I had been less honest I could have phoned many other fans ( we arrived early ) to tell them to bluff their way in , I didn't

Look I fully understand your situation and hope that one day you will be in a better position than you currently are , we had a good day at Ealing , but get them to sort out the ' bogs '

Rosslyn Park now have a plastic pitch too. A stand on one long side of the pitch and a shed the length of the other side which both seat about 1,000 in the dry. They hire it out for a few hundred quid.

Worth a thought if the crowd looks in the 1,000 to 2,000 range and the earthworks are still going on at Ealing?

Our home is Trailfinders like it or not its home, lets see if they get the temp stand up and go from there

I recently tweeted the club, and they advised new pitch complete mid August, so let hope hope the first three games up to mid August are away (as I am on holiday) and the rest at home

We've known we're going to be in the 8's for a while now, we know we'll be playing at least one SL team at home with a sizeable away support and we're still at the stage of 'IF'? shouldn't this temporary stand, which seems to be acquiring semi-mythical status, be in place in case our first game is Leeds at home?
Or is this another case of DH being evasive about increased capacity at Trailfinders - like he appeared to be at last year's fans forum? When most of us actually got a first look at where we would be playing for the foreseeable future.

Fair enough! Can it be as bad as that farce at The Stoop when we kept getting told "you can't sit there" but no one actually told us where we could sit. Ended up busting into the seats behind the goal and then that mad woman came down and started saying we shouldn't be there but it was too late, there were too many of us to move out. She harped on about some kids from a local home who might be distressed by our presence. They weren't and had a great time from what I could see! Anyway if the poor little buggers are in a home I doubt sitting with us for a couple of hours ranks as one of the worst things to happen to them! Looking forward to visiting anyway.

Looks like DH has got til Aug 19th to have that stand in place and it's safety cert in place too ( assuming such a thing will also apply to temporary structures)
