Personally I thought Thackery was outstanding. Cahalane was better but I thought Thacks was just about the pick of the London players.

Mr Thackray was superb last night at Halifax, breaking line and doing the real tough stuff, even Murrell was shouting about getting all game, proper pleasure to watch and did not budge one inch all night, full credit to him

Hmm I heard Murrell asking someone to do a job on one of our players

I heard it too. He did more than pull his weight and they realised it.
It was a good performance from him.
