Well he has to try and be positive publicly lauding the players for ANYTHING good, whilst working hard in training on what was bad, theres not a lot else he can do, I'll repeat myself from several other posts;

We need an experieced half-back and at LEAST two more grizzled old props!

Plus a two month break in the season while our players get to know each other during training while every other SL team goes on holiday and doesn't even think about rugby.

I don't think Rea should be berating his non Super League squad, nor should he say that we should accept 50 point losses. But when they genuinely put in a shift, then why not pick out the good bits and accentuate them.

Sensational may have to be contextualised or else dumbed-down a little, but we should always support effort shown by players, as their had been a few going through the motions over recent seasons, knowing that we Broncos fans are too polite when compared to our Northern compatriots.

Were we as a group of fans to have been as bit more vocal pre-game, supporting their warm ups, letting them know that people care, and that they cannot get by with a C for effort, rather than in the bars until 2 minutes before kick off then we might not be in this mess. I genuinely believe the score flattered Wigan. I was in the South Stand shouting Laaaandon at the top of my voice. It was part of my stag and I was reasonably intoxicated by then so think I overly celebrated our second try so much that the whole stand was abusing me when they invariably came back in the game. All good banter and at the end we were congratulated for a good performance which it was.
Not sure if you have seen the highlights but the ref had a shocker. If that game had been televised the scoreline would have been so much closer. We had two tries called 'held-up' whgen I believed both (if not one 100%) should have registered and Wigan had another, think it was Sarginson that was nowhere near the line. Wigan fans agreed. shocking display!
Thought we fought hard and went further into the 80 than we have done previously.
For me, the major dissapointment was Mataitonga. Clearly not fit and did not look like he was making much of an effort, giving up if not missing most tackles.
On the other plus side I can comfirm that a night out in Wigan is more than messy and £13 for 9 double vodka's and red bulls, you would not be too suprised about that!
