We need a couple of props and a few other positions also but the props would be a big start.

6 games in we've learnt that nothing has changed.....with maybe the exception that this year we are averaging results at a negative of 33 points a pop instead of 19, whilst shipping 47 per game instead of 35...oh yeah, we've managed to mislay another 46% of our fans too, the tickets cost more but the coffee is cheaper.

From what I've seen/read I'd play the following team on Thursday:

Macani - Let nobody down at Leeds
Solomona - Seems to be a class act
Caton Brown - Threat in attack
Minns - Solid
Farrar - Apparently he's played wing before

Bishay - Looked good this year
Drinkwater - He must surely be better than what he's showed as of yet.

Krasniqi - Good player, would get another SL club no problem IMO
Moore - Solid
Slyney - Big guy
McMeeken - I like the guy, good player.
Cook - Leading by example
Foster - Been better than people have mentioned I think. Good footwork.

Cunningham - Very good young hooker. Will go far
Griffin - Works hard
Forster/Greenwood - Not sure who has gone
Atkins - Covers wing/centre

This is in part true. But they aren't all worthy of an SL spot. Problem being is that the bigger, better ones are on full time NRL contracts and playing in those comps waiting to play NRL.

As an example look at the Knights v Bears game on the NSW one. The Knights Number 30, Likiliki. GF may remember him at the Warriors. he spent the whole of last year in NSW Cup but is on an NRL contract.

I'd definitely be looking at someone like Eloni Vunakece. Fijian prop, plays for Toulouse, aggressive and powerful, had a good world cup.

Toulouse' season is nearly over and I'm assuming he'd count as a Kolpak.

Don't you think we should make sure we get someone with proven quality that has done it at SL or NRL level or else we'll end up with another CC level player to go with the rest everyone says we have and not end up any better. Maybe take him on trial for a month would be Ok to see how he goes is best.
