Wherever the Hive is it is in a blandless tract of suburbia. Of course the Stoop was not on a tube line whereas the Hive is. The Stoop was about the same time to walk to from the station as the Hive will be I believe. The Stoop had a frequent train service to a station with many good bars and eateries around it.

Lose lose all around for me. No loos on the underground either if you have had a few at the ground!

Middle of Nowhere................Camden Town matey's, get a load of it and then tube it up all the way without a toilet, though tends to be no in/out on sundays on tube,

No it's the first point the Edgware and High Barnet branch meet on the Northern Line.

Nobody will be taking this route for the Salford game on 22/2 mind as its closed all weekend for engineering work.

Canons Park to Waterloo is 35 minutes
Canons Park to our local station, Brockley 56 minutes.
£3 single fare.

Not bad and less engineering works than BR.

If its a reasonable car park how about arranging some 'tailgate' parties.

Any good places to stay over night for myself and husband maybe close to the ground..

I spoke to someone from Barnet fc about staying over..they are doing a link up with local hotels...premier inn is just down the road ..they reckon there will be social functions lined up for us in excellent banqueting room...we were told that any travelling away fans..and us presumably can use the Barnet bars the night before the game with band/disco/comic laid on....
