| Anderson for me from that list, commands respect and seems like a coach with a hard edge who would sort out the slackers/also rans within our squad.

| Daniel Anderson, Jim Dymock, Steve Folkes would be the three I'd look at.

| There are, what, 28 top tier club RL head coach jobs in the world....You could count that number of an inbred coal-miners hands and feet.....of those positions, most have coaches set for the coming season.
I think we can attract a good standard of coach.....we shouldn't have to settle for anyone who doesn't have the ability to do the job. We took a chance before with Powell and it didn't work....we should be able to aim high.

| Can't believe Noble is top choice so far! Ok, so maybe as Director of Rugby but if not say Jimmy Dymock for coach then a young, hungry Aussie assistant coach looking to make a name for himself - and ideally he'll have a bit of 'mongrel' about him!

| The likes of Anderson and Kearney are not realistic. This club is not a desirable job and these guys could go to any NRL club. People on here need to get real.

Jim Dymock may be a possibility, it would give him a shop window as to what he can do. Surely, Potter is the man we should try and persuade.

| Royce Simmonds should be there too. Made a young Sains team into a solid unit v quickly. Results not improved by his sacking.
He also has an ace name, a la Steele Retchless ( though not as good)

| I'll do it.
If they overlook me though I want it to be worthwhile and get someone in who really is top quality eg Bennett or Kearney. I know I'm dreaming but it's not like this forum makes the decision for the club, so maybe we should show some ambition.
It will be interesting what Rea gets out of this squad though, if he is a success I would have no problem with him staying around

| Haven't seen a realistic suggestion in this whole thread. My hope is Rea somehow gets 4 or 5 wins and gets offered the job full time.
I appreciate the irony of this post.
