| I'll almost certainly buy, subject to finances only really. I've watched this club for a long old time and will hang on there to the bitter end, as it looks like it will be. The blunt truth is that in three seasons time it is likely my local team will be Wakefield (at this level of RL). I'll miss Superleague, I don't see any realistic hope of us re-emerging a division or two down so it's off to South Wales, Hemel or London Skolars occasionally for me. We probably have only 30 odd Superleague games left in London. I intend to make the most of it, even if sadly it will probably be a case of admiring what the opposition do and despairing of what London do.

Sad but true, I hope you are wrong, but fear you are right. Still this club has more lives than a cat and once again the improbable may just save us!

On this particular issue, yes. Loyal fans would support the club through thick and thin. You have decided to prioritise other things, which is absolutely fine, but you aren't a loyal supporter, like most of our followers, apparently.

I agree, but apparently the majority of this respondents on this thread do not agree, and will buy if Powell is replaced. That was the point I was getting at.
I also do not disagree with any of the issues that you raise, and I am extremely hopeful that the club attend to these. Refusing to buy a season ticket won't help the club achieve any of its objectives. Walking away after only 2 seasons of dispair is laughable to be honest. If this had gone on for 10 years then maybe I could understand it. But these so called loyal, long term supporters who have followed the club for 10+ years, throwing everything away because of a single dodgy period in our history that could be exactly that in less than a years time - history.
Its nothing about believist automation - I buy a season ticket every year because I love supporting the professional game of Rugby League in the South and hope that one day things come good and we enjoy some success. Does that make me a believist? I am prepared to make a commitment to the game rather than picking and choosing my game and boasting on here when I have decided to not take up the train journey I have booked to an away game in favour of sitting on my sofa scratching my and feeling smug about the amateur game I am going to attend instead.
For some, the professional London Rugby League club is more than just a weekend activity and I would shed a tear if the club were to go under, without shame. Others will simply move on and find something else to do. I would be numb. But that is just different levels of preference I guess.

You seem to like to take the contrary position, but loyalty should not be blind. The club is throwing itself off a methophorical cliff. A majority on here seem to be expressing the view that they do not find that acceptable. We have very little leverage over the club, we write and get told of a review but with no outcome. If the thought of more fans walking away causes a reaction then I do not consider that unloyal.

I won't be knee jerking because of two bad seasons out of 30 plus. Some football fans will go through decades of depression, winning nothing, having no hope, yet their loyal supporters will turn out week on week as the club is their passion. I see that in very few of our supporters.

Of course they don't find it acceptable, neither do I, but withdrawing my support will not make 1 bit of difference in helping the club in the future. It will only have a negative impact and make things worse.

| Oh and I find it amusing that it is believed I am taking a contrary position, if this were a football club or a bigger club such as Wigan, it would be the opposite.

I don't think anyone who has supported the club for years (in my case since the advent of SL) would make this decision lightly. But lets face facts the problems run deep and there are those who now view the situation as unacceptable. They may want to influence a change or make a point (if only to themselves). I don't think that is disloyal. Some may even feel their loyalty was in danger of becoming misplaced.

| I've voted for option 2 as the best fit. I won't buy at ANY price, but my current geriatric-level ST is so cheap that I don't even notice it - just one return rail journey, plus parking costs at my local station cost about 75% of my ST. I don't attend every game but the ST in itself, ignoring all the add-on costs which go to First Great Worsten, is excellent value for money. It enables me to see SL live, not just the Broncos.
But option 2 says I don't care about the coach and of course I do.
