Quote: Dan Stains woz God "Of course they should bluddy well be putting it on their website! How the blimmin hell do you suppose that people coming to the games (or those thinking of coming) are to know what goes on at a game? The great stuff our club puts on at a game needs to be advertised, thats all.

This wasn't meant as a having a go at the club but just a reminder for the new regime that not everyone automatically know that we have a bar or an after match party.

You obviously don't read many of my posts if you think I'm the sort that just likes to slag off the club. You've got it wrong this time mate.

Oh and how friggin difficult would it be to have a poster at the turnstiles telling people what goes on? I'm not talking about anything that would take a lot of work, just a simple schedule of events.

We are not Wigan or Leeds that can just take someones money off them for 80 minutes of rugby league and send them home (sadly).'"

Nothing personal geezer. Timing wise it just reads like another pop at the club.

Is this a recent occurence? How many games has it been happening for? Let us know if there aren't any posters at the next game.

Did you know NRL clubs have people working purely on social media for them. A luxury we can't afford. I daren't suggest it as GF will be on the case.

Pesonally, I don't give a flying one if the NRL have 35 social media mangers per club...it has no standing when it comes to the Broncos and their inability to attract a crowd.
Veiled digs at my stance on the total fkkkkup that is marketing at the club don't work RB,,,,,in case you missd the meeting where it was agreed, I DON'T DO SUBTLE! icon_cool.gif

Matchday at the stoop was always one of the best in the league...a real selling point when it came to getting "neutrals" to come along, as the bands were always good and the craic was, as we say in Ireland, 90! Players mixed with fans, everyone got on and win lose or draw, a good time was had by all................fast forward to now and yet again, the ball seems to have ben dropped.......
1,500 on Saturday night anyone?

No veiled dig. NRL clubs have staff and the resources to do certain things that we can't. I thought you may like to have a pop at the broncos for not sorting that out and to add to your list of requirements of what we should be doing.

Surely sending our fans home sadly is the one thing that is happening...

Geezer suits me v well icon_lol.gif Anyhoo, no not a recent occurrence. I asked Broncos facebook whether we had a band a couple of games back and they responded eventually that we did, but they didn't put it on Broncos website.

Could be that they don't know what's happening 'til the last minute...I am well aware that practically everyone in our club is doing the job that 3 people would be doing at other clubs (apart from one or two on the pitch!) icon_smile.gif

Well said the best program & raffle ticket seller we ever had icon_cheers.gif

Seriously though, it sounds as if they are too proud to ask these days. It saddens me to hear this and it's amazing what you can achieve when you ask. My daughters small school asked us to use our particuler talents to help raise money at the Easter fair last Saturday. Over $30,000 raised and well run, because they they asked and then used the right people in the right areas to make it work. Nothing complicated just a lot of passion and work, of which our supporters have in bucket loads.

Quote: Homer "For all his warbling preaching to the converted on here [waste of his fingers] Gutterlax could and would have helped this club for a pretty damn small ROI.'"

Dead straight Homer. I never wanted to turn a bob or 2 out of the club as I did with other "customers" I genuinely care about the club getting it right and my warbling and preaching are only caused by a sense of utter frustration and despair at the continued fkcing up of almost everything at the club.

I also would say that if the prople at the club are asked to juggle a number of tasks and find themselves unable to do so, then it's time they buggered off to pasture new.....apparently the 02 arena have a history of taking on waifs and strays in their marketing department icon_biggrin.gif
