Been by train to Perpignan for the last 2 years - can only book max 3 months in advance - around £120 return from London to Perpignan - High season for the last 2 years but, yes, a late Easter trip a few years ago. I think the French want to play the big teams - who bring a fair few supporters - out of season and leave Quins/Broncos to high season when they don't need extra tourists in town. Can usually take Eurostar to Lille and change for the once a day direct train to Perpignan. Very comfortable it is too but not bookable via Eurostar website you have to ring them - same back train leaving Perpignan at just after 10 am. Will be good to see the Crusaders supporters I spoke to after our game last season.

Can you not book the bit after Eurostar on the TGV UK website? Excuse my ignorance of this topic, I've barely ever visited France, never mind got on a train there. I've booked Deutsche Bahn tickets on their UK website without any issue at all.

Do hope we haven't got Saints at home first game.
If we had any choice in the matter, we should have gone for someone like HKR or Hull as we would be in with a shout of winning and they bring a lot of fans (it will be 10 years next year since we have beaten Saints in London and it seems to me we have about the worst home record against them).
Would prefer an away game first up, as we are going to be rusty with our usual lack of pre-season matches. Never seems so bad when you lose away, and really want us to get off to a flying start at home.
