Go away. Your ignorance of everything is only exceeded by your inability to grasp my original point. The fact that Listy now owns you should be enough to make you retreat from your keyboard.....or even better, Burn it

"Know" fans?
Has the standard of education at Troll Comprehensive got that bad?
As for rlAn Poblachtrl not being into Rugby Union, I think you will find that you are referring to rules 21 or 27 of the GAA charter.
21 stated that membership of the GAA was denied to anyone serving in the British forces (Instituted in 1886/amended in 2001)
27 stated that "Any member of the association who plays or encourages in any way rugby, football, hockey or any imported game which is calculated to injuriously affect our national pastimes, is suspended from the association"...this was removed in 1971.
By the way, if you read An Poblacht you need your head examining..... It was the mouthpiece for the Provos and since the troubles ended has tried to re-position itself as a political paper. Have no doubt...the cover fee that used to be paid for it paid for bullets.....it is a disgusting rag........

| Loads of Aussies are aware of Quins, they simply don't care.
Not all Aussies like rugby in the same way not all English people like football.
The Irish love their Rugby (union) so why not tempt them over to the darkside ?
Why don't we try and tempt all the Italians too ?
maybe the Lebanese. I think badgering the Aussies now is a waste of time, they simply don't want to watch a lower class of rugby (By that i mean SL not Quins)

| Also the Aussies. Kiwis and Saffies may work in London but a lot of weekends they are off to different places - weekends away in Europe or in the UK. I know I have worked with a few.

True, and I've had a few...
Did I just say that?

| The Oyster card thing is a complete waste of time. 5000 random Londoners?!? I go into pubs in Harpenden / Hemel and there are S*racens posters in loads of them. There was a huge roadside S*racens ad poster by the train station in Berkhamsted. They dont own their own stadium and they have no fans, but they no what they are doing and it works. We dont have clue.

| I can't see it being a waste of time, any publicity or marketing is better than sitting on their thumb and hoping people turn up.
If i win the lottery on Friday I'll put Quins posters on every billboard within the M25

OK.....I am miles away, so can anyone add to the OVERT activity of the marketing team so far other than:
5,000 Oyster Card Holders.
A viral Video seen by 2,000 people.
Posters for the Wakey game at Stations on SW trains routes.
Emails from Facebook groups or the club don't count as they are like telling a leper to wash his hands.....what I mean by OVERT marketing is trying to attract someone to a game who hasn't been before....
