I actually agree with everyone on this thread

Given that there's two polar opposite viewpoints made on the thread, that is a tad difficult.

From past experience the Skolars pub isn't somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit for any reason. I might have gone there to watch our game had I been attending the Skolars match anyway, but the opportunity to do so wouldn't have swayed me in favour of going to Skolars. I've never been to the Bloomsbury, but I'd be surprised if this impacts negatively on the arrangement to watch the match there.

Credit to those who arranged for the Bloomsbury to show the game, but it's not particularly accessible if you're not based locally. I would still have gone there (from Sydenham) to watch our game, but I'm away for the weekend and will be on a train back from Manchester as our game gets underway.

4-62 hammering for the Skolars. Did anyone go?

Yes, I did.

Sadly, it was men against boys (literally).

Rochdale looked twice the size of Skolars.

Highlights of the game were the punch-ups (of which there were plenty!)

Skolars pub is a typical council estate boozer and gives you the impression that it is about to close down (but then I have had that feeling for years and it's still going).

However, they laid on sandwiches and stuff for people watching the Quins game shown on a nice big screen.

The crowd was about 150 over their average. Did many Quins fans show then? Agree about the pub though. It might be worth thinking about getting a pub in East London , a la the Bloomsbury for next season.

I didn't go to Skolars, but couldn't believe the result - yes they've shipped points left, right and centre all season, but 60+ to Rochdale? Jesus wept.

Wood Green is a hell of lot closer for me than Twickers and 1 bus ride away

I didn't know anything about the Skolars pub until i read it on here.
Do they show SL every week ?

I believe the club own the pub (or a stake in it) so therefore, SL all season I would think. PM elite skolar and ask.
