Why dont you read the RFL report before commenting on something you know nothing about.
Apparently he was warned that if it had been aginst any team other than Wigan it would have been a 4 match ban.

Good post GF......why not send it on to Phil Clarke (following his comments last week on Quins penalty stats). A clear case of same issue but different treatment........let`s not forget we had 4 players banned following the Catalan match (I think it was 3 for fighting and an `alleged` high tackle from Clubby.........with only Mogg being penalised for the froggies)
There have been 3 or 4 fight incidents this season already but not one has been dealt with the same severity dished out to Quins. I don`t care if a ban is applied or not......just that the RFL treat everybody the same. |

Mason got a £300 fine and no ban I think. Seeing the incident on the SL Show on iPlayer last night it was far far worse than LMS and was worthy of at a least five game ban.
Defo a case of one rule for US and another for every other team. Mason was like an animal.
Shame on the RL.

Not seen the LMS incident - just read the RFL disciplinary report.
The RFL clearly accepted the fact that O'Loughlin was restraining Griff while hansen (and Leulei) thumped him with Riddell in attendance. Mason could have strolled over and politely requested that hansen desist. Instead he ran over and knocked Hansen out of the way - good. A 5 match ban would be ridiculous.
I thought the defence of LMS by Brian Mac "it was my motivational speech wot done it" was priceless. |
