Suspect the context means GF was in Alanis Morissette mode.

Gutterfax you may like this as a footnote, we have a TV show called "Pointless" were you have to answer questions and you score more points for the answer that the less in one hundred people knew, last week one question was on poets and who wrote what, there were two young couples all grads two with masters and out of the 12 they knew Not One! I may not be a real poetry lover but I knew everyone, sorry that is the comp school boy LOL!!!!! not bad eh??'"

Never thought I'd live to see the day that London Calling became a poetry forum! icon_lol.gif

Perhaps we should give up on having bands in the East stand bar and get the likes of Simon Armitage in to give a reading! I hear these 'poetry slams' can get pretty lively! a050.gif icon_lol.gif

₤20 for a coach to Orient........50 mile round trip along the A406......
2009 Wakefield Return ₤20 - 380 miles
2009 Crusaders Reteun ₤15 - 320 miles
I don't think PP has ever charged more than ₤20 for an away trip.......

If proof were needed of how disconnected the club have become from their supporters, then this is it.

I am sure it could be subsidised just to get fans along, but it is 2012 and not longer 2009! Facts! you could travel to Newquay from Manchester in 2009 for £17 with National Express Coaches, a friend has just booked now yes 2012! and it is nearly £80!

Coaches to Wakefield or South Wales tend not to incur the £200 low emisiion zone surcharge that coach operators would have to pay to cross London.

Running a coach 10 miles across one of the busiest cities in the world, and with perhaps the best public transit system, for more than it costs to take the quicker and more comfortable train is the issue

Totally agree, even someone like me who would have to travel from deepest Berkshire could do it cheaper (and probably quicker) than £20 by public transport
