A good professional sports club. In any sport. Needs a positive relationship with the media, all media.

Nobody mentioned he was an enemy. I said that there is no obligation from a club to someone who demands a set amount of words within a time limit.

I agree with ML. As frustrated as I have been with LB, we are under no obligation to to this.

Obviously the club its under no obligation to take part. I would say that it would be good business practice to partake of this opportunity to put forward our case for inclusion in Super league. After all Is it not David Hughes avowed aim to get the club back in SL.
I would say the club will look rather pathetic, if it was the only club of those applying not to contribute.

Agree no one is under any obligation, but PR is so important. in how people look at a club.

That's the League Express editor who is followed by over 18k people including most of the major people of importance in RL.

Genuinely stunned that any club wouldn't jump at the chance of putting forward their case in what is basically the trade newspaper.

Good news at last just heard from Martyn 'League Express' all Six Clubs in contention for The Super League 12th place, have submitted their 500 words of their application intention, all of the 6 clubs admissions will be in tomorrow's edition, should be an interesting read.

League express are not the people who are making the decision. Not sure what the big deal is.

So has anyone read League Express & have a view on the respective 500 words. Rather reminds me of the NZ soap 800 Words that the Beeb have been running. I expect there will be some deluded statements in some of them.

Interesting to read all 6 clubs submissions to 'League Express' why they deserve the 12th place in Super League. Our submission looks as if they do have something up their sleeves but didn't want to go public yet?

Would your reading of it jaybs be that whatever is up their sleeve (hand & arm apart) is in the official submission but not in the school essay for LE?
