| What was Chariots doing there and being in all the pics. I can understand he was there in his sky capacity but I hope he wasn't turning sargy's head with tales of gold up north.

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| IF we do succeed with our own stadium one day & I hope it is something the Majority of us aim for, I wonder if these few "Doubting Thomas's" will still be around and eat some humble pie!! would love to see it!
He who laughs Last, Laughs Longest!
Sadly if we can't make it happen in the next three years, who will blame David Hughes walking away and no one else would bank roll a London club again, but thankfully most of us though we are realistic don't keep posting Hoping that Will Happen!

| I fail to see how anyone can justify putting a negative spin on any of this....we all know what the club needs to do and the re-launch, regardless of what some say, was an opportunity to get some coverage.....it worked. On Saturday those at the double header will get a message.....there are 6 cabs with ads on them.....all of this is 1000000% better than anything tha club have attempted since the Leeds game with free VB in 2005.....and even better, if it's like this in the OFF SEASON, we can assume it will get better after christmas.
Yes......it's easy to have a pop...I should know, but for now, the Jury's out. If I have to retype the 2,500 point marketing plan again in September 2012 because the club has trundled through another season on 3k averages, then by all means cry foul......but for christs sake, give them a chance first.
Listy, there are at least 3 "stalled" stadiums in and around London. Some with Iron girders and foundations ready, but with a lack of funds......any of these would be worth a look, which is what the RFL and the club are doing.....yes, a 15,000 new stadium may seem a pipe-dream, but don't write it off just yet.
.....I have to say though, I am disappointed they didn't hold the launch at a roundabout with some flowers on it

This pic www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/131 ... magesSport has the text "RUGBY LEAGUE" on the shield. So do the logos on the cab doors. Images on club site don't.
I think it's better with the text because it says what we do and fills up a blank area on the shield. I think the text should be bigger too.

| Blimey is Gutters can give it a go, so can I. I was under whelmed with the re-launch and the new kit but now the 'H' is out of the way, I am strangely optimistic.
Maybe we could do a new West End play called 'The Second Coming' with RP as the messiah, Gus as John the Baptist and DH as God. Buck and Dusty can have the stable and the Cowgirls can be the wise virgins. Do you think I can get any backing for it?

As I say.....let's see how they go in 2012. The Rugby League wording on the shield is fine...the back door is as "ronseal" as you can get....

5,000 canary wharf employees seeing a coloured card holder twice a day as against, say, 100,000 pairs of eyes per day per cab based on a west end/city cab running 10 hours during the day...so 1,000,000 a day for 182 days......

| 5,000 Oyster card holders are seen by 5,000 people who mostly keep them in their pockets and never look at them.
10 Black cabs are seen by 10s if not 100s of thousands over the course of 6 months.
at a guess …

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| Congrats on going back to the Broncos name, getting a much better club badge and choosing some fresh colours (although I think more could have been done with the kit design).
I've enjoyed every trip to the stoop since Rovers got into Superleague and I'm glad your staying there too, cracking ground.
Really hope the Broncos can kick onto the next level as a club & good luck for next season!

Mate of mine in Brentford owns a black cab...it runs 16-18 hrs a day between him and his son. If you worked on the basis of 166 views per minute then that's 179,280 a day, per cab.
Even if I am 90% out on my calculations, then its still 3.5 times as many eyeballs per day per cab as the entire 5,000 oyster card holders.

I think it also shows the club are investing some money.
