Quote gutterfax="gutterfax".What I can assume is that The RFL seem quite content to drag this out as if we do fold, they will have one less thing to worry about, but they do run the risk of any goodwill gained in the media from this RLWC being torched if we implode. I do not know if the guy at Barnet is this new investor, but either way, the inability of the RFL to make a definitive decision either way will probably administer the lethal injection to London Broncos as a SL club past 2014.
We need a decision from the RFL now.....they were happy to meet and OK the Bradford board....maybe we are not asking the right people the right questions?'"
For once I agree with you, and I don't like others blame Ian Leneghan, his action and the others is essential for the elite part of our game to stop the rot that has been allowed for far too long.
The RFL have spent a lot of time on Bradford, it was kept low key in the media on Tuesday night, that they have not accepted the new co-owner of Bradford and barred him due to his records on previous companies, a really dubious history, but why did they announce in the typical triumphant RFL way his arrival a few weeks before, why was his background not checked out first? typical ham handed senior RFL management.
The sponsorship that The Hive announced yesterday with Toshiba Medical is superb and after watching the press conference on YouTube impresses, why are we and the RFL not tapping into this.
If we see no action from The RFL I would like to see one of the national media do a real in depth investigation into what is and has gone on in recent months with the London Club, the day of Wembley and the World Cup semi final or The Final. I just worry that Ian Lenegan and the six may back down, if so the RFL will continue to be run like amateur time!
