What countdown?

800 or so hardy souls will buy ST's when the club get around to announcing their details......the clubs replica shirts will be on sale (pre-order) but delayed due to the club waiting for a major sponsor to sign on the dotted line.....then released blank in February with the promise that you can iron on a sponsor when they finally get one..... There will be a quarter page advert in METRO and the ES the week before the season KO and between 1,900 and 2,800 will attend the first home game of the season....at which point, the CEO will start flicking through the yellow pages looking for places to move the team to in 2014.

Sadly that is probably word for word what will happen.

Or is it the annual "the club don't do this, the club aren't doing that" whingefest time again?

We need a revolution in attitudes to turn this club around, and all we get is silence. Complacency does not do it justice.

Its a case of liking it or lumping it, as things will never change.
I dont like it but will put up with it, as its a case of having to.

It may seem that things will never change but it is doubtful that Mr Hughes's largess will last forever then things will have to change or LBRLFC will be no more.
It would be better if things were improved now, and I for one will not accept the poor level of service just because the club can't be asked to think of their customers!

Checking on the web, our current CEO seems to only stop in the one place for 2 years at a time, kind of like the previous CEO, who incidently went full circle back to cricket........if he stays true to form, we'll be under a new steward by the start of the season......probably bragging of how he will change everything.......sacking what's left of the paid back office staff and employing old contacts to roles they aren't suited to whilst getting Fred Perry Ltd to design our Kit and sponsoring some Rickshaws in Soho...

Just as aside. I'm wondering how many NRL clubs have their 2013 jerseys out there now?

They would all have their 2013 memberships offers out there (with Season Tickets as part of it), but jerseys?

The NRL shirts are in the shops for Christmas......they are manufactured by recognised Rugby apparel manufacturers, are complete with sponsors and don't "bobble" after 10 wears. They are also available around the world........London Broncos merchandise is "currently" none of these things.

The CEO went on record last year saying he wanted a shirt that [uhe would be happy to wear[/u down the pub........most FANS responded that they'd rather have a Rugby League Shirt.
