What will the RFL do with the bomb crater that is Odsel when there is no team playing on or in it?

That's the main conclusion of this affair. And if Bradford are in trouble, then it isn't a terribly big stretch to imagine us, Castleford, Salford and Wakefield being not far off similar.

One of the main tenets of the Franchising system was that it was supposed to ensure financial stability of clubs. Yet more evidence that the RFL is completely clueless when it comes to running the game.

It would be far more interesting to see an income/expenditure league table. I think that would be more prescient. A crumb of comfort is that the Aviva premiership sides are in even more debt, but they do have owners with deeper pockets.

How fast would these clubs have gone under without a SC constraint and Sky money?

How when they get £25 Million sponsorship from Aviva compared to our 100 painted wagons, which is still so difficult to see however many motorway journeys you make!

They have much bigger squads and a competitive player market that makes ours look like chickenfeed and gates no much bigger than our best.

I'd also be approving of voting them out. Feel sorry for their supporters but not their club.

Maybe DH should put his money into bailing out the Bulls? He'd have some chances of getting a return on his investment there.

If DH had wanted to buy another club, he could have got his home town club, Swinton for half a crown!

Imagine..do you reckon the present directors and owners of Bradford have actually thought what the history of the club is worth, nothing really obviously, they do not value it, to place it in such a position in the first place, we need a million pounds, wow, what a crass statement and what was with the business plan, five, four, three, two, one years ago etc, franchise and all, obvious they have pulled the wool over everyones eyes including the RFL and the fans, I like Bulls fans, good honest folk and a credit to the club, just listen to what the big cheeses have to say about the situation on t'internet and BBC/Sky etc, all business plans and stakeholders, not RL people, are they even from Bradford, what about the local council, does anyone else care in the town, Vote none of the above.

Would we get the same help/aid/exsposure etc, if/when we are in the same position, take the points deduction on the chin and get on with it, simples

Just because a club has happened to exist for a while doesn't give them a divine right to continue.
