BTW, the shop can't be more expensive than what we are used to down here. As it was an "event" day in Twickers for our last home game, all the pubs whacked their prices up (bleedin liberty). £18 for 3 pints and a glass of wine in a dingy boozer. Almost makes me want to turn tee-total.

I already have to get two trains home Windy. An additional mode of transport would kill me.

Sounds like "Fernandes' Brewery Tap". It's like going up a staircase into someone's house; half way up the stairs there is a bar to the right visible through a window (continental beers bar) which only opens in the evenings. Keep going up the stairs for the main bar, through a solid door at the top of the staircase, with ten+ handpumps plus all sorts of other delights. Not as good as five years ago when they used to do free nibbles of black pudding, pork pies etc. on a Sunday lunchtime, but pretty good nonetheless.
