| This is terrible. but not wholly unexpected news. Gower has been our best player by a country mile and i for one will sadly miss him. Whilst wishing him well. this season is a dead loss. Even if we beat Sheffield does anyone believe we are capable of beating anyone else?
i think we have a mass clear out - try and keep hold of a few - Bailey for one, and i would keep Dorn for another year despite what lots of said on this site and start again and try and have a better 2014 (if there isone). if the club folds in 2015 - we can at least go out on a high!

| While I agree a mass clear out may be required you have to ask yourself two things (i) the current squad are not performing consistently to their potential so unless that is addressed we will not necessarily see any improvement (ii) are we actually going to be able to attract better players than those we already have given our funding situation and where we are in the licensing cycle.
I suspect the quality of the squad next season won't be fundamentally any different than that we have now. It might have better balance if some of the more obvious weaknesses are addressed. However, I doubt we will be able to offer long term contracts and thus will lose some of our better players.

You'd either have to wear a pair of platform shoes or have a quiet word with Tulisa

| Gower's last SL game & Bishay's first. Little did the fans know that this game would be Gower's last Broncos game. Great image.

exactly.
How sould destroying it must be for professional sportsmen torun out to a near empty stadium. In wendyball, playing behind closed doors is a punishment. In London RL it has become the acceptable normality.

| We should expect Craig Gower's real opinions of the club to be revealed before too long by his mate Ryan Girdler.

Interesting point about the February meeting with Bellamy at Harrow. It shows that Gower desperately wanted London to succeed, but that eventually he reached a point where he had had enough of the incompetence of Tony Rea, Gus McKay, and David Hughes, and of the team mates who won't make tackles.
A losing culture, or a culture of losers?

| Interesting yes, but Quote: "Gower is a fierce competitor whose contribution may only be seen in his absence'" What absolute b*ll*cks! Gower's contribution was all too obvious whenever he was on the pitch.
