I really don't see what our two DR agreements are doing for us as we've gone to Bradford, HKR & Wigan for loanees or are Warrington & Salford so short of players themselves? 

Seemingly with minimal effort Halifax have lodged 4 tries and Broncos offered little. Game already over. On the radio this appears to be a woeful performance. We?re in a bit of strife.

If the radio commentary is a fair representative of what?s going on then there?s no dressing this up as anything but poor. Super easy for Halifax. 

Just as well they give us 0 to start with as I doubt we could manage to get there on our own. 

We?re getting proficient at rarely scoring but letting them score at will is an unwelcome development.

Yes. Pleased to see we?ve upped our performance and at least registered a couple of tries but game was gone a long time ago. Our points difference may be important come end of the season. Heavy losses doing us no favours. 

So much for my predicted upset!  Other than that little flicker after halftime where we had some shape and showed a bit of urgency with the 2 trys we were second best in every department. Halifax bullied us physically, out-enthused us, and played at a tempo the Broncos just couldn?t live with.




Halifax didn?t even have to do anything special, just play basic direct rugby, fast ruck speed, a few nice short passes and offloads, and London had no answer. Defensive line speed was poor, middles got dominated, edges got shredded. Attack-wise, Broncos were mainly frantic and shapeless playing as individuals, not a team. No patience, no control, no real idea how to build pressure and nobody taking control.  The final 40?12 probably flattered London in the end because Halifax eased off with about 10 to go. If Halifax had stayed ruthless, it could?ve been 50 or 60.




So?. that 10-minute spell? It just showed how frustrating London are.  There is a decent team in there somewhere. But the rest of the game was a painful reminder we?re a bottom Championship side right now, not a title-chasing one.  If there is a magical takeover of the club it can?t happen soon enough!

Full match replay available on YouTube channel. 1st half performance very low energy. Body language looks tired. They look low on confidence. No attacking threat. Tricky old patch this. On plus side Poscelli is a good player and teams don?t seem to be able to handle the physicality of Bienek and Worthington. 

Will things get better with O'Bierne or am I kidding myself?  A bit worrying if we're getting physically dominated with a full strength pack.
