I am starting to believe that they don't care if they fans off because they are getting another clean slate in 2014.....if The RFL do offer central funding, then unless they have a complete clear out in the back office, top to bottom, they may as well set fire to their investment. Personally, I wouldn't let the current administration look after anything more serious than maybe running a pub football team, but even then, the Hoists seem to be better run than the broncos at present icon_twisted.gif

The post above mine should be a warning to the RFL.......Londoners may well enjoy RL, but whilst they are being treated like they are at present, they are leaving in droves.

Quote: goonerrl "Not impressed at all. I did email Gus asking how can the club expect people to turn up so early. Not so bad if U19's playing but they are not playing until after the seniors. In fairness i did get a quick reply. Gus advised he was having to work with police etc, do not see why reserving car park spaces we have paid for is anything to do with policing. If car parking limited due to army navy match, tough we paid for our spots so people should look elsewhere. We are now coming by train as we dont live far a way. If i got there at midday in car and was not allowed to park car i would probably end up in twickenham nick by 12.05 i am that angry about it. However i intend to see Gus after the match tomorrow, well i see he sits in front of boxes and will be demanding my fiver back for the parking space i paid for which i now cannot use. Probably be in twickenham nick by 2.35 pm then.
I totally agree with you, I bet DH and Gus have there car park spaces reserved for whatever time they rock up.
The club Know how many of these tickets have been sold and should have that amount cordoned off. If by our ko there is spaces left then sell them.

If they want a club left at the end of the season they really need to pull their thumbs out their ar5es but i feel the damage is done

The Stoop is the best Rugby Stadium in London other than the big house across the road.'"

That says a lot, how may rugby stadiums in London then are you comparing with? the car parking fiasco is just the latest since we returned to the ground, how people blame the club is beyond me, sooner we leave the better, I feel it is more than just the rent, we are not clearly wanted!

If this latest fiasco is from the police?? how many car parking spaces do we have that have been purchased? I bet it is not that many that it would create a problem arriving between 12 noon and 12.30pm!

I don't know what all the fuss is about
We rolled up at 12:45 at Richmond College next door as we always do.
Matey said £15 to park, we told hime we were seeing the Broncos, no problem that's £6.
Gentle stroll to the stadium and to our seats on the half way line

Today there were, as usual, plenty of vacant meter parking places in Egerton Road which runs along the front of the college. Haven't parked there this year, been using the train, but last year you could park there for long enough for about £4 on Saturday and free on Sunday. 10 mins walk to the Stoop.

I note you never responded telling us what other rugby stadiums in London you compared the stoop to when declaring it as the best?

Original post in the thread.....I suggest that the thread was about those who had paid already.
Quote: BroncOnIon ""Car park spaces will be reserved for season ticket holders with car park passes until 10

I get it BroncOnIon....you think I have a po at the club for the sake of it, but in this case, the club made a decision on their own, no police advice and no landlord interference......they ed up all on their own!

The thread was about PARKING ON SATURDAY. I added some information which I thought relevant and maybe even useful to some people, you know - those who actually attend games. Absolutely s*d all to do with you.

And don't bother replying, because I won't waste my time reading it.

Fuck me sideways.....I can't for one second believe that ANYONE doubts that the decision to flog off car parking spaces post 10.30am was anything other than the club making an executive decision to stick two fingers up, AGAIN, to those fans who stupidly forked out for a ST/ST with car parking.
As for your responding....stick me back on ignore then....it won't change the fact that the club is being totally and utterly destroyed from the inside...1,400 less fans per game than the 2010 season....that's 9,800 less fans who paid at the gate so far, say15 quid and then spent a tenner afterwards.....let's call it a QUATER OF A MILLION QUID LESS IN REVENUE SO FAR.......but let's all blame nasty Harlequins....and maybe the weather, but rest assured the CEO has your undying support d040.gif d040.gif

A QUARTER OF A MILLION HALF WAY THROUGH THE SEASON DOWN ON 2010........A QUARTER OF A FUCKING MILLION......

Tell me defenders of the club and St Gus of McKay, how many curries do they need to shift in the second half of the season to claw that back?

A QUARTER OF A MILLION POUNDS.......or, if you don't like that FORTY ONE PERCENT!

If you are making reference to the new Allianz Park Stadium, it leaves the stoop behind by miles and most rugby league clubs! yes the bar, food, and curry will be much better than the stoop and a pitch that can be used 52 weeks a year!
