| We gave away to many tries!
Ward and Clubb handed them 2 tries-I believe every other try they scored, the set started from a penalty-I can't remember Leeds scoring after receiving the ball in open play.
What was our completion rate? 30% possibly?
I was really hopeful of a win and feel let down

| It's been a while since I've been down, the last being the Melbourne Storm match, of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Yesterday, though I thought was great with the two games back to back, I know the results didn't go our way, but it was great to see the Skolars at the Stoop who to be honest were defending tightly in the middle but once York got the ball out wide we seemed to be getting caught.
The only downer I had on the whole day was at the final whistle. For some reason the Quins players don't walkover to the fans and clap them, and if they do it's a token gesture whereas both York and Leeds went over to there fans and clap them.
Bring on Wigan in two weeks. I was in my Skolars jersey yesterday, and no sun burn, so an even better day bad by all.
See you soon.

I assumed that it was ironic. Hope I'm right. Even if I am, enough is enough thanks.

| I don't like the song either but it's because the opposition are taking a penalty instead of running with it, and it is conceived that 'it's just like watching union' nothing more than a joke tbh.
I expect the squad will be on punishment chores this week. Leeds played it like a cup-tie we played it like an exhibition game. We do not have the right mentality, if the other team does not roll-over, we do. Simple as that. Leeds were spot on, played the ref and seized on every chance. We cocked it up and then felt sorry for ourselves. We will also get a hiding at Hull KR if we do the same. Story of the season really. It was a shame as there was a bigger crowd who could have been persuaded to come again.

| Almost all the Leeds tries were scored down the flank that J O'C and Clubb were on, which is a worry, although several can't be blamed on either, I suspect we missed Purdo sweeping up in defence. At times we try to be too clever, hard flat passes in to the face of the player on the angle, or passes down around the ankles. I think it shows how fragile the balance of our side is.

What did they both have in common yesterday, maybe that's the hint you are looking for

| A lot of points this year have leaked via Club and JC. If you want a soft centre pick a club, he takes the biscuit.

| Clubb has been terrible all year, he can't tackle, he gives away too many penalties, and he is always out of position. Mac needs to drop him!
Lamont should replace him

| Purdo should replace him or at least defend next to him from a second row position to manage him

We've got noone to replace him, and he has moments of real quality in most games, but having seen the tries on Sky again yesterday he was bad for one and unacceptably lazy for the other. We need a captain out their giving him an almight b****cking if he does that again. Completely disinterested in defence at times.

I don't know how you can call him disinterested in defence - if anything he is too interested in defending and putting in a big hit. I think saying that he is useless in defence would be closer to the mark.

Being interested in defence is not about flying out of the line and nailing someone. Its about being focussed on holding your place in the line and stopping the attacker, not standing there watching an attacker run at you and letting him break your line unchallenged! Or when you lose posession just standing there and watching them pick the ball up first and run away unopposed. Its laziness.

Clubb is perfectly adequate in his positioning, the problems begin when he actually has to stop the player.
