He has a good try record against them he's scored about 7 in league and cup I think.

It has been confirmed.
Hope he goes well over your end, get the ball out early he'll score for fun: kick from the scrum every time and no one will catch him; I mean, lets be honest, you're not getting very far running it are you. Teams constantly on the back foot need to be a bit adventerous, especially when you lose the 'arm wrestle' every week.

He's really improved his defence too imho

I first saw Kevin Penny in a reserve game at Wilderspool bout three years ago. He scored four tries in a losing cause - I think Quins won something like 42-36. I don't think I've ever seen anyone run so fast on a football or rugby pitch. At least he should add a bit of excitement and entertainment to the Quins matchday experience if nothing else.

If he wants to get it out early he will have to get it out his bl**dy self mate. If he gets it at all he will be lucky! icon_confused.gif

I always thought he was a good player. I couldn't believe when my mate Wolfman texted me from Warrington this morning. Hope we make the lad welcome and he gives the team some much needed pep.

He's a good prospect.
He has some defensive issues which aren't half as bad as some would have you believe, he's still young and is trying to force himself into a team that are playing very very well and great players.
He'll be very good for Quins, of that I have no doubt.

While this is good news and we have got a player with speed to burn on the wing at last, and im sure we will all make him welcome and hope he bags a try or two against St's. But what your all for getting is he be playing out side Clubb and if this is th case i feel sorry for the lad as hes going to have a lot of pitch to cover when TC goes walk about again.

Would it work if Howells not back, that Sharp could move into centre and have Penny on that wing with him and move Melling to O'C's wing to play along Clubb. Dont think Clubb would get away with going walk about so much with Melling there having a go at him, where as O'C is young and maybe not sure if should have a go at him.

Myself i think a Sharp/Penny combination could work. Sharp likes to go in a tackle not scared to try a side step, can be hard to put down at times but he also likes to try and off load, well with Penny there on wing if he can mange a off load to him and with his pace might get him in or near try line anyway.. Just a question thats all icon_confused.gif:

Bit worrying either Club confirmed this yet, but just an link from an acticle in a local warrington paper.

Put Peny with clear space in front of him, even a fullback, and there's no might; it will be a try.
However, if you think Mr Clubb goes Walkies.........
