| Quote: RfE "So if we ground share with AFCW do we go back to our old problem ( assuming they have a grass pitch) of potentially playing on the road games if the football club want to reseed the pitch in their closed season? I know pitch technology will have improved a lot since we were at GP but......
For me one of the best things about TFSC was the artificial playing surface, and the fact it wouldn't get damaged through us playing on it, Ealing RU, our Academy side, rain , snow etc....
I'm not having a pop but for a few years now this sort of thing hasn't been something we've had to consider - well not since the leaky pipes under the pitch at the Stoop and our enforced trips to Wycombe and was it Esher for an Easter evening game?'"
If I remember ..wasnt that Esher game against Catalan and it was bloody freezing...?

| Plough lane pitch is hybrid grass and synthetic so should not have a re seeding issue

Yes a very cold Thurs night and the seating in the terrace was long planks of wood!
Last minute decision to travel up as we only decided on the day, had to stay the night in the M4 services at Heston.

What was the reason for him leaving?

Tony Clubb decided he was bigger than the club itself.

| If that equates to him thinking he deservef more oay then yes. But thats why he left! And he has not done toi bad out of it, cant knock anyone for doing that.
Anyone in any career will always look at moving if they dont think they are gettung paid enough for there role and skills. Or renegotiate with the current company.

| His re negotiation by the way, he was asking for IRO 2k pay rise, not unreasonable. And certainly not an indication that he thought he was bigger than the club. Club said no hence him looking elsewhere. He was keen to stay otherwise.

| Paul sykes did the same, asked for pay rise didnt get it so went home. LMS was a bit different, he was on poop money but he needed a bigger better club to develop. Pretty sure his pay packet jumped though.
Syksy took less pay back home bit he had much fewer outgoings.
Enough of that, i know the club have not confirmed anything, anyone heard anything elsewhere about a change of ground being discussed yet

| That's why you can't blame LMS taking another extra season at Saints, such good money, supported him a lot in his benefit season, always the same Louis, always hoped he may do a final season with us again!

Well that’s good news- as I said the best thing about TFSC was not having to worry about the pitch.

| Rosslyn Park RUFC announced as the new training base (For 3 years). Its actually a pretty good ground (not for league games point of view, but facilities wise for training). What I could not make out though, I go the impression it was on ly for the first team squad??!
