| Quote: Dan Stains woz God "Back on subject of the game itself, whilst admitting that Broncos were a complete shambles, tbf, has it been noted anywhere that we were without 6 of our first choice 17 (plus Melling)?.
Even the mighty Wigan lose games when they're missing key players.
We're back to the bad old days of relying on loanees from other clubs.
That being said, would have thought that we could have come up with a better show than we did.
Can't wait for our another flogging in front of the tv cameras.
Fair enough we had players missing but do you really think the likes of Witt, Randall, Howell and the wantaway skipper would have made a difference?

| Rob...I think Bailey and Dixon would have made a difference, as would Witt, Howell and Randall on a good day.
Clubb I wouldn't play anyway...wouldn't have him in a London shirt again (which would suit him down to the ground!).

Bailey,Dixon fair enough, my bad, but as for the other senior players, the ones you mention haven't had anything approximating a good day over the past 2 seasons, wouldn't have expected them to have done anything on Saturday to significantly alter the outcome.
100% in agreement with you about Clubb, he's dead to me!

| I like as much as everyone else here couldn't believe what I saw on Sat. I couldn't watch 2nd half, I turned over and flicked back now and then to just to make it a worse night for me. (even the wife called me a sucker for punishment).
There are two things that baffle me: Why did TR play McMeeken over the more experienced Melling. and also of all the choices he had to play in the halves with Soward, i.e. Dorn and Sarginson and even the less experienced Bishay (at less he knows how to play in that position), and the others had to be better then Jamie C in the halves.
You have to wonder sometimes at TR thinking is when it comes to Jamie C and what he see's that we don't,even when we have had better players available he still gets picked above them.
I wonder on Thurs night if we see Soward and someone else knew there in one of TR bright new ideas from the training ground. How about Soward and Dollapi......

I've said it before and I'll sadly probably have to say it again, I cannot understand how the man has a job as a professional rugby league player. Without question he's the worst regular SL player I've ever seen.

Al I was completely shocked when I saw JOC in the halves. Bishay would have been my choice as he is used to that role and knows what he is expected to do. Sargy and Dorn could have done a decent job. Effectively TR left all the creativity to Soward which made it easy for Wigan. What a let down in team management.

| It wouldn't have made much difference but Bishay and Dollapi have gone well this year and they don't seem to have the air of despair about them yet.

O'Callaghan didn't really play at s-o, more like an extra second-rower. In fact we had so little possession that Soward made no impact, so our s-o was irrelevant.

Howell and Randall could have made a difference. A loss by 80 points ?

JOC on a team sheet is a good sign we are going to lose. In the halves is just madness.

The Chicken Balti pie was the only positive as I remember.
Not forgetting the band I suppose.

| I walked out at 58 - 0, so enjoyed a few more bonus minutes with my family. Enjoyed the ground, Park Inn was great, as was the breakfast. I left a cheque with the hotel for the Wigan and Leigh hospice... I suggest the players do the same with their salary because they didn't earn it on Saturday

| I shook Olsi Krasniqi's hand when the team warily thanked the fans after the game. I didn't say anything to him. Close up I have never seen such despair & despondency in a players face. And as for the low-spirits shown in his eyes; that was very telling.
