| Quote: Snoopy "Yes. The drop in away fans has been noticeable since Catalans joined SL and when you consider this impacts on almost every home match you get to understand comparing London Crowds to Northern crowds (who enjoy large away followings) you realise that you are not comparing like with like.'"
If our ground was packed full of londoners on three sides of the grounds you would get a lot more away fans coming down for an 'event' game.
As penguin said, hiking down to an empty souless shell of a ground to watch us is not that inspiring an option

| I think it's perfectly reasonable to suggest that if people are only going to one expensive away game, they will choose Perpignan over London (it's still a novelty at the moment).
Back on topic, we are being discussed on the Quins fans forum and someone has said that it was our players not wanting to move that has led to us staying next year (surely not?) Contributing Quins fans seem happy that we are staying another year. Why isn't it longer?

Gus MacKay is responsible for all areas of the business.......when questioned about crowds, he blamed the team.....where's the Logic lesson required?

| Gus isn't responsible for all areas of the club. He has nothing to do with the rugby.
TR stopped the move.

| I think people are being unfair to Gus here. He has only had the whole season to get the one extra year we already had signed.

I don't care whether your 'sources' are correct or not, the information regardless of truth is farcical.

A Chief Executive Officer is responsible for EVERYTHING at the business he or she runs..........he or she manages the people who in turn, manage their areas of expertise. Gus, like it or not, was responsible for the farce that was powell remaining as coach. If it was/is up to DH, then his job title should be GM.....not CEO.
As for TR stopping the move.......if correct, it again shows that the person running the club is DH.......not Gus and it asks the question "what's the point of employing a CEO?"
2 Years into the job.....feel free to list his achievements to date.
20% less fans, no sponsor, no staff, 13 wins from 54 games.........cracking job he's doing at TW2 Towers

Lights blue touchpaper........
Reverting to London Broncos, no more being called 'H********s', no more multi pastel shirts, return of Tony Rea as coach - 4 wins in last 5 games! possibility of playing at a ground with a bit of an atmosphere in the near future!
....and stands well back!!

As an SL team we've always been LB except for when the only chance of survival was a switch to quins. Once it was clear that they no longer wanted to take us over/merge there was no point using their name.
Less of an achievement, more a natural expiration of a previous plan.
TR returning is just spinning RP being left in the job far too long.
Only possiblity of playing at a ground with atmos is if we get fans to watch us - under GM crowds down 20%
