That is exactly what I thought WQ. You can expect to have a few injuries in pre season training, but to be unable to field a team is unbelievable.
It gives Doncaster a problem with their season build up too. Our game against them will have more meaning. They will have to get more out of it.

Have they stated that’s what it is? Suppose you have to look at it sensibly as a club and not risk anymore injuries, it is odd though, maybe if they are struggling already they will not be the league runaways as everyone is predicting.

The squad for Hull KR friendly has included several of the youngsters from the Doncaster game. Sam Davis, brother of Matt is included too.

Well travelling up to hull on a fri night, and throwing in a few of the youngsters up against a pretty decent KR squad was never going to be easy. To come away losing by one converted score is a pretty decent result in my view, maybe Wardy is not that daft!
Even the “glass half empty” crowd can’t find too much wrong with this run out.
