| Given that Lee Mossop and Chris Tuson are moving on and Paul Prescott retired this season I think there is every chance Clubb will be playing regularly for Wigan next season, even if it is off the bench. I don't think they've paid a fee for him for a laugh; used properly in a side that isn't dysfunctional I think he will prove an astutue buy.

| I can see them being similar to the signings of Dudson & Flower a few years back. People were saying "Who?" and questioning the signings, and they worked out pretty well I'd say.

Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.

Talk about being bitched - what a torrid time they've had. They'll be looking for some A&E rest time for the next three years at least.:simpsons/PDT13.gif |

Ian Ramsdale tweeted the other day that a fee had been paid for Clubb, don't know if one was paid for Sarginson though

| If Tony Clubb's agent can convince Wigan to hand him a 4-year contract, I reckon he should run the RFL

The difference being Clubb has being playing in Super League for many years already and is a donkey. 4 years, absolutely shocking signing for Wigan.

| Personally I think that they will both do well at Wigan. Working with a decent coach and a well run club they will both have the chance to reach their potential.
I am interested to see how all of our players that have moved on perform with their new club/coach. Players like Kaufusi, Dorn, Wheeldon, will they continue their downhill slide or will they regain some of their previous form.
I have always been in the anti Tony Rea camp (as a coach anyway) but I think next season will be a good indication as to whether I was on the right side or not.

| I can't help suspecting that mr Wane and the Wigan club as a whole know a bit more about developing rugby players than anyone posting on this board or indeed Mr Rea.

Lets just never have an opinion on anything then.
I can't help suspect that David Hughes knows more about running a professional sports club than anyone posting on this board.
Oh wait.

No, he's a prop forward (or new-style loose forward), not a complicated role. I think that if Wigan can get him fit, he'll do well. Anyway, we'll see. Come back at the end of next season.

Yep, I'm with you there. Big if about him getting fit though.

| Wigan will get him fit in the physical sense no worries with that , but whether he can sort his own head out is open to question . The way he carried on in the closing weeks at LB makes me feel he thinks more of himself than others do . Cant believe Wigan paid a fee for him .
Regards , EW
