Oh please god no!!! He has had a shocker this season, in fact since it was announced that he was moving to Penrith. I watched him at ANZ against the Bulldogs and really looked uninterested, and e!!!
He has been chucked out of the Dragons side and is playing for the feeder side, Irriwarra.
Please TR, dont, just dont, this will be a mistake.

A tweet from RL Fans: St George Illawara Dragons have immediately released Jamie Soward, to play for London Broncos before returning to the NRL for Penrith Panthers in 2014. Seems confirmed, for once the Sun is right!
Check out his Chicken Dance and highlights on youtube - some player at his best, I hope he has not come for a joliday.

Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.

Fully agree! it's only a few months, he most likely would rather be in London a Capital than St Helens or Salford (Saints fan knocking Dr K as everyone seems to do currently that they would not able to lure him) just hope he really wants to show Penrith what he can do! |

It seems that DH wants to spend the money (who could blame him for pocketing CGs wages?)
As things stand, it's difficult to imagine us winning another game...at least Soward gives us some hope (probably misplaced as usual!).

Very talented player that blossomed under Wayne Bennett's guidance and a game plan written around him, resulting in him playing Origin for NSW.
Things haven't gone so well for the Saints since Benny's departure, and the retirement of Ben Hornby from the 7 role has set them back further.
He has a great left foot kicking game but needs to be behind a dominant pack to give him the room to move in. Has a reputation for poor defence but I've always thought he's better than his reputation. He is ALWAYS the scapegoat for the Saints' frailties, and there are just more of them now than 3 years ago!
Think of a left footed Paul Deacon and you're not far off.
