| The colours are based on the London Knights which was the name most people voted for in the naming poll!!

| The truth is that the 100% lock, stock and barrel owner of the club David Hughes wanted to go back to being called London Broncos about a year ago.
Instead of simply changing the name in line with the owner's wishes the club tried to make everything as long winded and complicated as possible and ended up with thousands of questionnaire responses, a creative agency wanting to get their scruffy beardies to make something unusual and as long a paid process as possible.
Needless to say after many months of 'review' we ended up with what the owner wanted and what the fans also wanted as well but after months of cost and delay.
In the meantime the CEO rounded up his old mates from his former non Rugby background and brought them on board. Obviously these cricket people had no pull from sponsors in Rugby League adding further delay. The big problem was that no one wanted to place an order without sponsors but the manufacturer is the slowest you could ever use, so a compromise on design seems to have happened. That being the expensive badge being screen printed on two t-shirts with no design at all.
I dont blame the cricket manufacturer who I am reliably told are a minor operation who deal with small scale sports clubs at Universities and minor cricket clubs called things like Woodham Dean, Woodhall Spa and Tenterden. This means small quantities and a three month wait which people ordering just 25 shirts would expect. Why would they refuse the order?
From what I have seen to date they seem to be able to apply a badge to a generic shirt in a short space of time.I honestly don't think they would be capable of designing or even copying the old design and getting them made quickly. They can't even update the online shop for our club. I reckon there are more people working on Fred's Barrow Stall at Bolton Market than working there. But nepotism can get you places.
They were told to make very limited quantities of stock because the old 'Harlequins' stuff was hardly a best seller once it became clear it was changing and especially as the logo seemed bigger on each new item. But I digress.
The sensible move would have been to appoint someone like ISC - they have made a very nice Hull FC away shirt in black and silver by the way- or Kooga or Classic or anyone who makes Rugby Shirts for a living. They'd need to be able to make stuff in about 5 weeks tops and make lots of XXXXL shirts for all the beer bellies or at least go easy on the small.
I'd love to see either the old or new badge carefully sewed onto the iconic red, yellow and blue shirts but until the club is able to find sponsors early and finds someone skilled in design and manufacture I am sure we will be walking into places like Wimbledon Hockey Club and shouting 'Snap!' as we have matching hoodies with a different badge.
I am honestly not sure how MKK can claim to create Bespoke items. Unless by bespoke it is glueing a badge on!

| Rammo have you been smoking something you shouldn't have?
Where is your usual research? If you had undertaken even the simplest of google searches I suspect you wouldn't have written that tripe.

Didn't we have a disastrous experience with ISC the last time they made shirts for us? (2004?).
Also, you appear to slag off a kit manufacturer for having the temerity to supply grass roots clubs as well as professional outfits. If you're a small, relatively young business, surely this revenue stream is your bread and butter? They also supply several county sides, no doubt helped by the fact that one of the co-founders is James Kirtley, a former England international.

They also supply the kit to the glorious Middlesex CCC, and sh*tty Surrey.

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| The colours are never going to please everyone.
I really hated the red shirts and the red, blue and yellow quarters.
The best shirt for me was the old Fulham shirt.......shame we couldn't have had a chevron on our shirt this year (a silver one would be good).
I don't care about the manufacturer or whether the shirt is available for Christmas (I don't need a shirt 'til Feb!) but I do hope they do away with the horrible, half stand up collar look (seems to be all the rage in rugby shirts today). Dreadful.
Oh, and please, please, please, can our team play in black shorts? The sky blue shirts are OK, but putting them with sky-blue shorts make them look like baby romper suits. Our players get enough stick up North without making them look like overgrown toddlers!

I have no problem with MKK who I am sure are relevant to their core markets.
Of course I know MKK are a manufacturer to a couple of county cricket customers but the majority of their primary market is fulfilling the needs of small non-professional organizations such as university and social clubs.
They will be able to work with MKK to say e.g. make 25 of these in three months time or make 1000 in four months time or whatever. This is how things work when you outsource production overses etc.
For whatever reason they were given the contract to fulfill the needs of a professional sporting organization but without any Rugby Templates in place and who need things fast because of the never ending search for sponsors and last minute decisions and in my view they have not met demand.
I've been unimpressed that even a simple restock takes months, with the failure to update the online shop, generic designs, minimal choice of sizes etc.
I'm not putting this all on MKK as I think the club is at least partly or wholly to blame for placing orders at such a late stage that they could not design and manufacture anything with a design or even the Super League badges on the arms or a proper badge sewn on. Also they may have unordered.
I'm certainly not Stella McCartney but I would have thought that using the iconic Fulham shirt chevron or the London Broncos/Harlequins squares would have been pretty wise.
It is a big disappointment to have seen simply the sort of plain t-shirts with MKK on that you'd expect if you were Haroldhill sports club who say here's our badge we'll be back in three months when you've laminated them on.
I'm not bothered about the colours other than that they are relevant in some way and that the shirt gives you a warm feeling for parting with £50 and looks of a Super League standard.
After all if I wanted a MKK T-shirt with a badge on then I wouldn't be keen to pay up this amount.
I'm trusting that we won't be doing this again next year and there will be some thought out into a design.
Perhaps these will be our new colours next season

| I liked the quartered shirts of red, blue and yellow. They're the first shirts I remember the Broncos playing in so it could well just be for that reason that I liked them.
I wasn't too keen on the Wembley kit but I understand the nostalgia behind it and I imagine a replica of that one, or a modern day effort used as an away kit, would sell quite well.
The Fulham kit has always been declared as one of the best, why this hasn't been recreated, I don't know.
The shirts the club had (I think it was sponsored by Streetwise Sports) in their final years at Brentford was also one I liked.

| I really like the colours we have now, their not lairy and look good with casual wear unlike yellow, blue and red.
Didnt like the MKK home shirt i bought quality wise but the other stuff has been very good, impressed, just a shame it took them so long to re stock us. Also the sizing is erratic unless im suddenly dropping weight, i havnt worn size M shorts since the 80's!
I'd stick with the colours but tweak the shirts with a chevron.

| Like the colours now. However the home and away shirts are not good quality. Seen several with white bits coming through, including mine.
