At every point in our recent history, we seem to be on a mission to find the most effective way to jettison any current/lapsed/potential fan base.

Hold my hand up, I was wrong about the half time score, but not by much. If nothing else this season, we will set a new Fulham/ Crusaders/ Broncos/ Quins/ Broncos record for nillings.

Sports ability to surprise never fails. I absolutely never saw that coming….sound of betting slip being ripped up.

It’s becoming like a parody now. Even the commentators are going through the motions. “They never give up” “Eccles has done the best with what he has” “ They had a real purple patch/decent spell/ dominant period (describing a 5 to 10 minute period)” Bassett’s back story, Miloudi a real character. Bottom line everyone knows we’re going to get tonked by a 30-50 point margin and there is very little merit in the matches. One cannot escape the fact we are harming the brand.

Replace "real character" with "liability" to be closer to the truth.

I can see he has merits and we need an X factor player desperately so he is all we can get then so be it but personally I’ve had it up to here with him. I hope we’ll go a different way next season. ( I should say I have a suspicion he’s a lovely fella - just I don’t think we can afford to have him on our team.)
