Play the kids. We need to focus on the league. Cup is just a distraction. We lose and we can rearrange the Sheffield game for when the next round is played..

Agree with bosty, rest up those that need resting, give a couple of the kids a run out. Think our priority is the league, a win would be nice but would not be fussed if we lost, but if we do lose at least lose competitively.

..or phone up the RFL with a dodgy French accent and ask if we can be excused the hassle of the Cup?

The decision to allow the French to opt out is looking like a good move by Toulouse as they could well have been up against a stiffer team again this coming week, rather than a week to lick their wounds and prepare for the trip to Swinton, which will see their confidence sweep back....

Does anyone actually know the rules of the Challenge Cup? It’s not something I have looked into, does it say anywhere as a team in the pro league set up that you have to compete in the cup comp? It might actually be the cup is opt in With the assumption each season that all pro league teams are opting in.

Leigh certainly on a roll, 130 plus points scored in their last 2 outings, next week could be a car crash for broncos if they are not careful. Was thinking about going up but maybe go watch York and Catalan instead think it could be a closer run game.

Apparently, they are not members of the English RL, so can opt in and out of competitions. Perhaps, as they are just 'guests' they may not be allowed promotion to SL? Of course, they may still opt out of the Middle 8's, if the opportunity arises?

Oh, and beware of fielding a weakened team - I'm pretty sure there are rules to cover that, should a 'member' club do it!

London will certainly be up for this one....regardless of it being a distraction. If I played in the team that lost the league game last month, I'd be 'raring to go'. If you won, and got a Super League club at home....who knows what might happen ?

Budgie, their is an attitude issue, don’t think anyone goes in actually expecting to lose or not caring, the important thing is to make it a decent game. Importantly for the coach spotting the weakness for next time the two come together.

I never suggested otherwise, players AND fans should be looking forward to this game.....
