| We are going to have two chances of beating them. Next weekend and in the Middle 8s and I would rather win the second one.

| It will be a tough old battle and we can afford to rest a few players, but if we win we get a shield hut would also like to win the second match in middle 8s, wouldn't it be great if the top two beat all super league clubs

| On Sundays performance not a chance! But I don't think we can be that bad again. With the momentum we have the blokes will be confident so I would not discount an upset in our favour.
I agree I would rather beat em next time round. But, if we do beat em next week it will stand us in good stead, we have never really done very well up there so let's break that pattern.

| It would be brilliant if the top two beat the SL but the SL teams are throwing big money at the problems and bringing in new players for the 8's to avoid relegation. They have a lot more money than we do. However I am happy our team wont be bringing players in as I feel the players who have got us to the play offs should be given the chance to get us wins in the 8's and get us promotion and not players who have done nothing to help us get there

I agree with you itsmeagain it should be the players who have played all season who play for us in the eights. I think the rules need changing so the Super League teams can not through money at players so they can survive in Super league. Looking at the players Leigh and Warrington have brought in I wonder if the are going over the salary cap.

| Why enlighten us who else have we bought in, we signed lee Jewett and Justin Carney last month because we saved about 600k from salary cap to strengthen after last season not bothering having 13 players injured hence relegation. We have said we need a big massive forward for years but still waiting maybe you know who it is

| Im not sure who 'we' is but that aside I'm stating fact that HKR have recently boosted their playing squad. I haven't got a clue who the big massive forward 'we' is demanding Tim buys, sorry.

| GLad to here it, the point is we all know our budgets at beginning of season and with warrington having a extra 1 million sky money, but each club work within that cap. and are you also saying with the likes of London say if they had a squad of 30 and the very unfortunate happened and 16 of them were out for season they (London club) would not then go out looking to find replacements to strengthen squad.. it happens all the time unfortunately. and warrington have gone out with leigh to bolster squads for middle 8s scared to be relegated even though Warrington should breeze the 8s

| Rebel, I agree and have no issues with it. What it shows is that you need a strategy to either survive (SL teams) or make a fist of getting up (Champ sides). There is no doubt that Leigh changed there approach the year they went up from the previous year. They spent big on an ageing but experienced pack.
We have reached the point in the season where teams are now preparing for the 8's. I get a feeling the Broncos will get bullied up front(Like Fev did to us) in the 8's if we don't improve the pack.

| Were in same boat with forwards were tough but small if we get a few back maybe will improve, but outside backs are doing great and if you get a chance to see Justin Carney first try for us was worth waiting for his suspension to end I hope we both do well being the best 2 sides I would settle for a draw at weekend

| Personally I cannot see the problem with it, the comp is the comp every club knows knows the structure and we all know that if you are in that mix at the end of the season you have the choice of sticking with yr squad or bringing folk in.
as long as it's within the salary cap so what

19 the same as last week except for Ben Pointer in for Mark Ioane. Interesting to see if William Barthau will get into the final 17 given his injury last weekend.
As an aside does anyone know why Harrison didn't play in the Fev game?
